Thank you for your interest in hosting a house party in support of the documentary “One Voice: The Story of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir”! The film shows what is possible when we focus the lens on our similarities, rather than our differences. OIGC is proud of what it has produced, and we are excited to share our story with the world.
By hosting a screening, you are embarking on an amazing journey that is sure to amplify your love for OIGC. Our goal is that each house party raise at least $2,500. You can make your house party as glamorous or as simple as you’d like - just have fun!

Before showing the film, share the mission of the organization and how the film is one of the many ways we share love, peace, and joy as part of that mission. Consider having a short discussion after the film. Ask your guests a few questions like, how did they feel? What did they learn that they didn’t know? etc. Encourage them to jot down their feedback on the forms provided. Finally, ask your guests to contribute towards the organization to support our mission of inspiring joy and unity, as well as the distribution of the film around the world.
